On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3: Up to $20,000 Available
Australian primary producers may be eligible for up to $20,000 under the Australian Government’s On Farm Connectivity Program Round 3.
The program provides a rebate of up to 50% of eligible costs, helping farmers invest in digital connectivity and smart farming technologies.
What can the funding cover?
Eligible technology includes:
- Connectivity equipment
- Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN)
- Environmental monitoring equipment
- Farm management equipment
- Remote automation and control equipment
Some delivery, installation, training and eligible subscription costs may also qualify.
Who can apply?
The program is available to eligible primary producers who:
- Have held an ABN for at least 12 months
- Conduct eligible primary production activities
- Have average annual gross income between $40,000 and $4 million across 2022–23, 2023–24 and 2024–25
- Are not hobby farmers
Applications are submitted by an Approved Supplier on behalf of the primary producer.

Funding is limited, and applications from primary producers who have not previously benefited from the program receive priority.
