On today’s date, 31 March 2026, the 2026 Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) year ends.
Immediate action is required if your business provides motor vehicles to any Directors or employees?
If yes, at the end of TODAY (31 March 2026) when they have finished travel for the day, can you please arrange that each driver take a photo of the odometer readings in their vehicles with their phone camera and email it to a nominated person in your business.
This will ensure you have accurate odometer readings as at today’s date. This information will be needed when you complete your 2026 FBT obligations.
