Economic Resilience Program: Zero-Interest Loan Support for Australian Businesses
The Federal Government, through the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC), has launched its $1 billion Economic Resilience Program to support businesses impacted by global market disruptions.
The program offers zero-interest loans of up to $5 million for eligible businesses operating in sectors including freight and logistics, fuel, fertiliser, and plastics manufacturing.
Key program features include:
- Zero-interest loans (standard fees and charges apply)
- Loan terms of up to two years
- Available for businesses with turnover under $100 million
- Businesses with turnover above $100 million managed directly by the NRFC
- Funding designed to support increased operating costs and economic recovery
- Applications open for six months from 20 April 2026, subject to available funding
Participating lenders currently include ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, NAB, Westpac, Bendigo Bank, and BOQ.
