Are you an employer?
If you intend on making your super payments before June 30 in order to claim a tax deduction, then you may need to adjust your payment date due to a planned outage to the SBSCH.
If the super payment is made after this date, you may not be able to claim a deduction for the financial year ending 30 June 2023.
Paying ahead of the outage will also ensure that you as an employer and your employees are not disadvantaged by payments reaching their super funds after 30 June.
If you do not use the ATO’s SBSCH, please check with your clearing house for the cutoff on claiming super for employees by 30 June 2023.
Please contact our office if you require more information about the Clearing House Cutoff.
